Behavior
All of our Buckley Bears are expected to use behavior that is safe, respectful and responsible. We use the letters in PRIDE to remind us that we choose to demonstrate Personal Responsibility, Respect, Investment in our Learning, Determination, and Effort.
Communication Folder
Each student will be given a folder that will be taken home each night. In this folder, you will find their work and any notes from the day. These folders need to return back to school, each day. Please check your child's folder, each night.
Homework
Students will receive homework. Watch for math, reading and writing to come home in their communication folders.
Daily Snacks
We have snack every afternoon. I ask that each student bring their own, healthy snack.
Birthdays
We love to celebrate birthdays, in our classroom!! Students may bring in a special treat to share with the rest of the class, for their special day.

Parent and teacher communication is very important and I encourage you to please contact me with any questions or concerns. I can be reached at school most days between 7:40am and 3:30pm (269-3030) or feel free to email me, anytime, at smenghini@buckleyschools.com
SCHOLASTICS BOOK CLUB
I will be sending home flyer's in your child's purple communication folder, each month. Our classroom code is LKQ4D. You can purchase books, online or send an order form and payment, to school, with your child. The more books we purchase, the more FREE books we earn for our classroom!!! Please let me know if you have any questions!
BUS NOTES:
If you are sending a bus note to school, with your child PLEASE make sure that it includes your child's full name, teacher's name and the address of where they are going , including the name of the person who's house they are getting dropped off at. Please be sure to sign the note and include a phone number.
